Using the Artemis Mask for Anti-Aging

Red light and Near Infrared (NIR) therapy are among the most well-researched tools in skincare for combating the signs of aging. Studies have shown they can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin firmness, and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin — the building blocks of healthy, youthful skin.


Which Color to Use

If anti-aging is your primary goal, focus almost exclusively on the Red light setting. NIR is automatically activated alongside any red light setting, so you're always getting both benefits at once without needing to adjust anything separately.

You can also try the Elasticity preset in Auto Mode, which is specifically designed for anti-aging and runs a programmed Red + NIR sequence for you.


Recommended Starting Routine

  • 10 minutes per session
  • Intensity level 7
  • 3–5 times per week

After 2 weeks, assess how your skin is responding and adjust from there. You can increase to up to 30 minutes per session if you want to push further.


Tips for Best Results

  • Always start with a clean, bare face — no serums or moisturizers before your session, as they can reduce light penetration.
  • Apply your serums, moisturizers, and any other skincare products after your session.
  • Consistency is key. Results from light therapy are cumulative — the more regularly you use it, the more pronounced the effects over time.
