Connecting the App to Your Mask
If the app isn't finding or connecting to your mask, run through this quick checklist before reaching out.
1. Make sure your mask is powered on first. The app can only detect the mask when it's actively on. Press and hold the button on the mask for one second until it lights up, then open the app and scan for devices.
2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Go to your phone's Settings and confirm Bluetooth is switched on. The app uses Bluetooth to communicate with the mask — it won't appear in the scan without it.
3. Look for "iMask" in the device list. When you scan for devices in the app, your mask will appear as iMask. Tap it to connect.
Still not connecting? Try these additional steps:
- Turn Bluetooth off and back on on your phone
- Force-close the app and reopen it
- Make sure no other device is already connected to the mask — it can only pair with one device at a time
- If the mask has been connected to a different phone before, you may need to forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and reconnect fresh
