Using the Artemis Mask for Hair & Scalp

While the Artemis mask is primarily a facial skincare device, many customers have found it beneficial for scalp and hair health as well. Red light and Near Infrared (NIR) therapy have been studied for their potential to support scalp circulation and hair follicle health.

How to Use It for Hair

  1. Power on the mask as normal by pressing and holding the button for one second.
  2. Place the mask on your head like a helmet, positioning the lights over your scalp rather than your face.
  3. Select the Red light setting — NIR activates automatically alongside it.
  4. Run a session of up to 30 minutes.

Tips

  • Consistency matters. Like skin treatments, results from scalp light therapy build gradually over weeks of regular use.
  • You can use this in addition to your regular facial sessions — just do them separately.
  • As always, start with a clean scalp. Avoid applying heavy oils or treatments beforehand, as they may interfere with light penetration.
